Hey there, yes, wash and dry and spray with cooking oil, just like you would your cast iron. Don't leave outside in the rain. The cooking tools come with instructions when you purchase them as well, thanks.

I wanted to write and ask about how to properly maintain the carbon steel tongs and carbon steel in general. Specifically in cases when the metal comes into contact with food. Is there a specific way to wash them. Should they be dried right away to reduce the chances of rust?
